Artist's Bio

David worked for many years as a graphic designer and illustrator for Wellington newspapers. He then moved on to visual effects in the New Zealand movie industry.

He now works from home on the Kapiti Coast, painting primarily in acrylic on canvas. His works have a strong New Zealand theme and are a combination of reality, nostalgia and the surreal.
