Katrina McGettigan
Katrina is an established artist and tutor who grew up in Methven and is now living in Christchurch. Katrina loves to capture the beauties of New Zealand on canvas and also offers art tuition for adults and children at her gallery, Kat’s Art Studio in Christchurch.
Katrina is an award winning artist holding exhibitions throughout New Zealand and around the world in both joint and solo shows.
Katrina is inspired by the breathtaking landscapes within her region of Canterbury and the wider South Island. Over the course of her career Katrina has developed a stronger more refined style by experimenting with a wide range of moods, colours and light to depict many landscape and native bird scenes.
