Julie Reason
Working from her tiny cabin on the Banks Peninsula, Julie Reason creates unsettling, dreamlike surreal collages using found images, scissors, and glue. The tactile, spontaneous nature of her creative process allows each picture to emerge in intuitive and wholly unpredictable ways, resulting in striking images that defy waking logic and whisper to the unconscious mind.
