Helen is an award-winning, self-taught artist residing in Clarks Beach, South/West of Auckland.

Typically iconic and quirky in nature, Helen’s work is often parable-like with many messages, some obvious and some not obvious. Her message is delivered in bold and vibrant colours, often with a twist of humour. Recently she has been experimenting with Figurative works in mixed media and graphite/charcoal mediums.

She has won numerous awards, including the KG Fraser Award for the most outstanding painting at the Royal Easter Show.

Helen’s paintings are very popular and many of her works hang in private collections internationally and throughout New Zealand. Helen is very happy to accept commissions.
