Gavin Martin
Gavin Martin lives and works in the stunning alpine village of Hanmer Springs in the South Island of New Zealand. His photographic career has evolved over several years and he considers himself very fortunate to have been able to work and play in rural New Zealand.
Raided in Christchurch, he shifted to the country as a young adult, where he worked in wild animal pest control, and had the privilege of working on several farms in some stunning locations before moving to Hanmer Springs several years ago when he became involved in the adventure tourism industry. His choice of careers and location have allowed him to indulge in his passion for photography.
His passion is outdoor photography, in particular rural, rustic and NZ's wild places - or in other words, images "Beyond the Fence".
