Anoushka Szybowski
Anoushka Szybowski has a BFA from Whitecliffe College of Art & Design and lives on the West Coast of the South Island. Her inspiration comes from her surroundings, the bush, the birds and the nature of New Zealand.
It’s from this personal interaction with nature and its vibrant bird life that a lot of her subject matter stems. Her illustrations are highly detailed and beautifully composed, capturing the alluring character of our native bird life. While her use of symmetry and mirrored imagery brings a refined design aesthetic to her art.
