Artist's Bio

Christine is a self-taught Christchurch artist. She has always been creative having owned a wedding decorating business and having a strong interest in interior design. Christine paints abstract landscapes that our inspired by our NZ landscape.

" My paintings aim to capture the essence of this visual paradise we call home". Unspoilt wilderness, lush rainforests, sculptural rock formations, rugged and dramatic beaches . . . as an artist I am continually striving to represent this natural beauty."

The paintings are dreamlike and atmospheric with a colour palette that is unplanned and organic, each shade building spontaneously on another. Christine's paintings are held in corporate and private residences in NZ, Australia, Asia, UK and USA.
