Artist's Bio

Steve's love of photography evolved early in life, from photographs on film to printing in the darkroom and on to digital photography and the creation of a career he is passionate about.

Steve has also worked on countless TV commercials and films for the big screen and continues to gain inspiration from this group of talented people.

Exploring the wilderness areas of New Zealand's South Island with a camera has taught him a lot about the animals he photographs and about himself. Visiting his favourite places at the dawn of a new day always fills him with expectation.

No day is the same, the animals and the landscapes they live in are amazing, patience is everything….and he loves all of it.
