Artist's Bio

Stephen Howard is known for his contemporary landscapes yet his simple compositions are anything but representational.

In the past twenty years, Stephen has increasingly used trees in a symbolic way. His way of handling light, is particularly distinctive, along with his intense use of colour. Stephen’s art is infused with a gentle spirituality which leaves a lasting emotional impression upon the viewer.
