Artist's Bio
Donna O’Donoghue is a self-taught, New Plymouth based artist, who owns Altered Image Studios. When she is not creating digital images, Donna specialises in working with resin and also teaches resin pouring and other mixed media techniques.
The body of Donna’s work is Contemporary Photo Surrealism. Donna takes photos of animals and links them with backgrounds which are often well known New Zealand landmarks. As a digital compositor, Donna has the unique ability of bringing humour and a slight quirkiness into her images.
Donna has exhibited at various art shows throughout the country, including the New Zealand Art Show.
