Coconut Ice

Lynley Brownridge was born in a rural area of Southland and now lives in Alexandra, Central Otago N.Z with her husband. She has always been driven to be creative, however it is only in recent years that it has been possible to pursue a career in painting.

Working in oils, she paints the peonies, roses and iris flowers which thrive in Central - capturing moments of time in nature and presenting them with a fresh and dramatic perspective. These works are botanical studies - arrangements that glow from the canvas the pure magic of nature.
